The moment a cat trapped in a ventilation shaft was rescued by firefighters was captured on camera
A cat that fell into a ventilation shaft and became trapped in a market in the Arsuz district of Hatay was rescued by fire department teams. Citizens noticed cat sounds coming from the ventilation shaft of a market and reported the situation to the authorities. After residents, unable to rescue the animal themselves, called for help, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. Arriving quickly, the teams located the cat and began a meticulous operation. The cat was reached without damaging the ventilation shaft and safely removed. After checks revealed no injuries, the cat was released back into its natural habitat by the firefighters.
